Only 3 days left until Air Yeezy II Release

Kanye West's Nike Air Yeezy II's Drop on June 9th!

The Nike Air Yeezy II is the follow up to the 2009 collaborative shoe with rapper/designer Kanye West. The shoes will only be released to select retailers worldwide.

Instead of using a late-'80s basketball shoe as its starting point, the II will be built off a tennis shoe outsole (the Air Tech Challenge II).

This limited-edition shoe will have an MSRP of $245 and will be released in two colorways -- "platinum" with the sparest of orange accents, and "black" with accents in pink. Both versions of the shoe have a sole in a shade of minty green and seem to Glow in the Dark.

People have been in line since Monday of this week and and pre-orders are already selling on eBay for $3,000 or more. One of the pre-orders topped $80,000! Whether or not that buyer will actually pay is unknown but these shoes are making headlines and will continue to do so for the next couple of months. Pictures Credited to Nike.
